The Muchty Room is the ideal setting for smaller events and meetings that require exclusivity and a secure environment. The Muchty Room, with its furniture specially commissioned by David Linley, seats fourteen people boardroom style and is equipped with overhead projector, projector screen, flipcharts, conference telephone and Broadband wireless access.The meeting room has 6 double 14 amp socket points, 3 telephone socket points and a television aerial socket point all conviently located.
Additional equipment is available by prior arrangement.
A day delegate rate and a 24-hour rate are available and Myres Castle can specially tailor a package to suit your business requirements.Myres are also delighted to help organise Activities, Incentives & Team development days.
Boardroom Day Delegate Rate
- £120.00 per person
- Arrival from 7am, depart by 7pm the same day
- Exclusive use of the Castle Boardroom
- Use of the Castle Drawing Room and Castle Library
- Tea, Coffee and Soft Drinks as required
- Buffet Lunch
Price based on 12 delegates.
Castle 24 Hour Delegate Rate
- £350.00 per person
- Exclusive use of the Castle and gardens, all meals and soft drinks
- Accommodation in nine en-suite bedrooms
(5 of which can be twins) - Arrival from 7am for the Castle Boardroom.
- Tea, Coffee and Soft Drinks as required.
- Buffet Lunch and Four Course Dinner.
- Castle departure by 12noon the following day.

Beautifully Furnished
The furniture in ‘The Muchty Room’ was commissioned from David Linley by Jonathan and Jenny White for Myres Castle’s conference facility.
The Board Room table is constructed of American Walnut with Maplewood stringing and inlaid with Myrtle Burr at the edges with the centre of the main tabletop in Walnut Burr. This is accompanied by a serving console in the same woods with a black granite top and a cabinet, also in these woods.
The fourteen chairs are also constructed in American Walnut with Maplewood stringing and Myrtle Burr inlays on the legs. They are upholstered in Russet coloured Linley Chenille. Finishing touches on the table include walnut pencil, notepad and tissue boxes and leather blotting pads.
A beautiful oriental rug compliments the polished wood of the floor and the walls display pictures by local artists.
